A lovely little waterfall surrounded by verdant vegetation. There's a rectangular slot on the left-hand of the lip, that look like it's been cut out by hand. I wonder why?

Yew trees grow extremely slowly and have a very hard wood.(fnarrr) This fissured specimen probably dates back to the origins of the house, making it nearly 200 years old.

Designed by Edward Blore (1789-1879) and build in an Elizabethan style, it was completed in 1827.

The entrance to the old ice-house. There would probably have been a stout oak door to secure it. Sadly, it seems to be full of dozens of bags of old rubbish. I've no idea how they got there, or even why someone would even think doing such a thing?
